since i already have a lot of photos available to me of people that hace cerebral palsy i was thinking just to talk about what can be done for fun and how they can enjoy some of things we do. i'm not quite sure how i will lay it out yet though. but im sure it will work well enough. but something with the pictures i already have for sure.

i think for thew poscast i will do a small interview and then talk to a couple of my friends about CP. I have two very close friends that have CP. so i'm sure they wont mind helping me out. and telling me things such as how they like living with CP and what they do for fun and basically how they live their life day to day.

pre confrence thoughts : I don't really have any but just to assure myself as to im on the right track and maybe see how i am supposed to go about pictures, can i use my own or do i have to use some from the internet.

Cerebral Palsy also known as CP is a broad term it is formed from cerebral meaning the brain and palsy meaning a physical disorder and lack of muscle control. I know quite few people who have CP. Cerebral Palsy is mainly cause from problems with the brains ability to adequately control the body. Symptoms for CP usually appear within the first few years of life. There are three main types of CP: Spastic cerebral palsy, Athetoid cerebral palsy, Ataxic cerebral palsy. When having cerebral palsy you may or may not be able to use your legs. If you can you may need braces and other instruments to help walk. If you cannot use the legs the doctors will usually place the child with CP in a wheelchair. Children with CP are just like me and you. They love to do things and I’m pretty sure they don’t like being treated any differently. They just want friend who see them for who they really are not for what they can or cannot do.

Thinking about the topic some more, I think I will write about children with special needs, children that are disabled. Think about it, us as citizens or all of us as a community do we do enough to help them? I work a summer daycamp for special needs children every year. I have seen that they are limited to doing things. Some of the things they can do though providing their disability lets them is bowling, basketball, shopping, baseball; these children love to do everyday normal activities like you and me. Most people say there just isnt enough funding to make some of the events happen. so i think ill write about if they really get funding what people can do to help. if the children their selves feel weirded out sometimes and just normal everyday life. im not too sure on that yet but i am pretty sure its the jist of what i will write on.

I have thought about writing something to do with children with disabilities or something along that line. I'm not completely sure yet but it's something that interests me and I have actually worked a summer day camp with children of disabilities attend for a long time. I have to think some more on it though.
